The Enid Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution was first organized with 13 charter members on March 1, 1913, under the leadership of organizing regent, Edith Brown Casey. The Captain Warren Cottle Chapter was organized on May 6, 1959, with 26 charter members under the leadership of organizing regent, Mrs. Ben (Velma) Musick. In 2010, the Captain Warren Cottle Chapter merged with the Enid Chapter.

We are proud to reflect the national motto of "God, Home, and Country." Since celebrating Enid Chapter's 100 year anniversary in March 2013, we continue to move forward actively seeking ways to make a difference in both large and small ways as we seek to further the objectives of the NSDAR to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. We continue to host an anniversary meeting each March.
